SFC believes that when you are sippin’ your favorite cocktail, you need a salty snack to pair with it! Our signature specialty roasted bar nuts are the quintessential snack to eat with any cocktail…salty, sweet, with a slight kick of heat. We use pecans, cashews, and almonds but feel free to use whichever nuts you enjoy best! This recipe is one of the top ten requested items and they hold very well refrigerated. Don’t skip the dried pineapple! Next time you are mixing your cocktail, make sure are snackin’ on some delicious bar nuts!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne
  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 lbs. pecans
  • 1/2 lbs. cashews
  • 1/2 lbs. almonds
  • 3 dried pineapple rings, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • salt to taste

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven 350 degrees. Bring pan to medium high heat and melt the butter. Add cayenne, Cajun, cumin, and sugar then stir until butter starts to foam.
  2. Immediately add the pecans, almonds, and cashews. Constantly stirring until the nuts are coated. Pour nuts onto baking sheet. Bake for about 5-10 minutes or until toasted thoroughly.
  3. Let nuts rest for about 5-10 minutes then toss in dried pineapple pieces.  Season with salt.
