INGREDIENTS
- 1 Egg yolk
- 1 cup Ice cubes
- 1 cup Water
- 1/2 tsp. Baking powder
- 1 cup Flour
- 1 cup Cornmeal
- 1/8 tsp. Cayenne
- 1/4 tsp. Salt
- 2 tbs. Basil
- 4 Soft shell crabs
DIRECTIONS
Beat egg yolk in a bowl, stir in ice water. Combine baking powder, flour, cornmeal, and cayenne and whisk into egg mixture. Season with salt and stir in basil.
One time batch is enough for 4 soft shells.
